Markers Needed

One of the conditions under which the event is awarded is that the route must be fully flagged and marked so that overseas competitors are not disadvantaged. We are seeking help in order to carry out this marking.

Our proposal is that various clubs or groups should undertake to flag and de-flag different sections of the course and we would be glad to receive any volunteers to carry out the marking of the following sections: -

• Start to Pen-y-Ghent
• Pen-y Ghent to Ribblehead
• Ribblehead to Hill Inn via Whernside
• Hill Inn to Ingleborough
• Ingleborough to Finish

The course marking will have to be in place by Thursday the 24th April and removed by Wednesday 30th April. We have a good supply of flags but offers of some extra ones may be appreciated.
