Marshal Information

Just a note to all Three Peaks Race marshals regarding duties for the race this coming Saturday.

The information packs to each marshal were posted on Sunday (first class) so should be delivered Tuesday (tomorrow) or Wednesday.

These information packs contain a general information sheet, marshalling details (times, locations, instructions, duties, etc.), parking and meal tickets.

All marshals should report to the Marshals Rendezvous marquee near the start (so that we know you have arrived, give you any final instructions, issue hi-vis and any other equipment you may need). Please bear in mind the weather could be very cold so please bring plenty of bad weather clothing!!

There are always jobs to be done around the finish so if anyone feels like helping out on the finish field once their duties are completed then please see Martin or David on the day.

Once you receive your pack (or if it doesn't arrive) and you need any information, please contact Martin Bullock (07912 323852) or David Weatherhead (07527 696996).

Finally, thank you again for taking time to help at the event your help is appreciated

Runner Information

On line entry is now closed

On-line entries and substitution closed on the 12th April 2017 and no substitutions can be made on Race Day

The many hundreds of hours we spend verifying entries is critical to the safe running of the race - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE RACE USING ANOTHER RUNNER'S IDENTITY - impersonation will result in a ban for the impersonator and the original runner

Please ensure that you carefully read the Race Information, Race Location and Course pages especially the section of the rules regarding equipment:

  • You MUST carry the following equipment: a compass, map of the full route (minimum 1.50,000 scale) whistle, wind and waterproof jacket with hood and trousers (full body cover), hat, gloves and emergency food (gel, chocolate bar or similar). It is also strongly recommended that you carry a space blanket in cold, wet weather. These will be checked at the start and may be checked at other points on the course with additional checks for the first 10 male and female finishers. If you are found without any of the required equipment you will be disqualified.
  • Click here for further details together with the FRA Requirements for Runners and hypothermia
